Tom Lister Jr. , the actor who played the famous character, is today, 10. December, passed away. Healthcare professionals were called into the actor’s home in Marina Del Rey, California on Thursday, according to TMZ. Unfortunately, the 62-year-old was already dead when they arrived. The cause of death of the actor has not yet been published by his family. However, news of his death sent shock waves through the Entertainment Brotherhood.
Tom Lister Jr. . is best known as the menacing character of Deebo in the Friday film franchise. He starred alongside Chris Tucker, John Whitherspoon and Ice Cube. This is not the first time the world has been grieved for the actor’s death. Just last month, fans mistook an homage from Ice Cube as confirmation that his co-actor had passed away. As you may have imagined, that was a misunderstanding. It turns out that it was the real individual that Cube made the Deebo character out of, who passed away.
Unknown to many, Tom Lister Jr’s final day would come just a month later. It took Ice Cube some time to talk about his co-star’s death.

Deebo’s character was so famous that the name was eventually used to describe someone who was taking a hit. Even so, Tom starred in other films such as Austin Powers in Goldmember and appeared regularly in hip-hop music videos, but none was as defining as Deebo. Tom was designed by Nick Canon to appear on Season 7, Episode 15 of his hit TV show Wild N ‘Out.
