UPDATE: Hurts is facing his second direct possession. It seems he has taken on quarterback for at least the rest of the game. He quickly collects yard goods on the floor and gives the Eagles a spark.
According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, the Philadelphia Eagles had planned to use Jalen Hurts a bit more last week, but he ended up only playing two snaps. This week, 20-3 in the middle of the third quarter, Hurts actually stays in the game, completing his first pass for 34 yards to Jalen Reagor. We’ll see if he can make some progress and hold onto the starting job moving forward.
