On the mend! Jeannie Mai returned to Dancing With the Stars three weeks after having a throat emergency.
The 41-year-old Real Cohost was among the participants in the 29. Season starting on Monday the 23rd. November, were present. During the show, presenter Tyra Banks gave Mai a greeting before cameras were tailored to the TV personality in the audience.

The TV personality noted that the past few weeks « felt long and heavy » as she was unable to speak or get out of bed while she was healing.
« But the calls, text messages, funny videos, matzo ball soups, bone broths, &, encouraging words from all my friends at work and LIFE brought me back to 💯‼, » she continued. “THANK YOU #MAIFAM for all your love. . Please give me some time as I am still sending thank you! «
The former How do I look? Hosts too, thanking their Real Cohosts for “keeping it down” while they were away.
« Your Asian sensation is to be back tomorrow because she misses talking hunnnay😬🗣, » she added. (The TV host spoke briefly on a clip about life after the show during the DWTS, joking that her mother insisted she teach her to dance. )
Earlier this month, Mai underwent an emergency throat surgery and had to go through DWTS prior to the Monday 2 episode. November, leave. She later found she was diagnosed with epiglottitis, a rare condition that causes inflammation of the tissues that protect the windpipe.
