Christmas season is just around the corner and Kelsea Ballerini helped us wow us with her performance at CMA Country Christmas in November. 30th. The country star sang an interpretation of “Santa Baby” and added a sexy look to the sultry mood of the performance. She wore a strapless red mini dress that showed off her taut and tanned legs. The look was complete with bright red lipstick and her hair in loose waves.
Unfortunately, due to the coronavirus pandemic, CMA Country Christmas had to be filmed without a live audience this year. Thomas Rhett and his wife, Lauren Akins, hosted the intimate get-together where country singers performed Christmas classics as well as some original hits. Other performers at the event included Dan Shay, Gabby Barrett, Tim McGraw, Florida Georgia Line, and others.
CMA Country Christmas comes just weeks after the 2020 CMA Awards, which Kelsea also performed at. She was put on the performance list at the last minute and owned the night she came on stage to sing « Hole In The Bottle ». In October, Kelsea rocked to her song « The Other Girl » at the CMT Awards. She was joined by Halsey for the sexy, Coyote Ugly-themed performance.
While 2020 kept artists off the streets due to gathering restrictions amid the coronavirus, Kelsea has definitely managed to stay busy. She released her third album in March, just days after the country was banned. She recorded scaled-down versions of all songs over the summer and released a second version in September. Kelsea also teamed up with Shania Twain to release a remix of « Hole In The Bottle » earlier this month.
Additionally, she and her husband Morgan Evans moved to a new home in Nashville. After packing their previous house for several weeks, they are now working on settling in their new location. What a ride!
