Tesco Mobile is offering customers a useful festive bonus for Christmas. The UK mobile network has confirmed that all users will get unlimited free UK data, minutes and text messages all day on Christmas Day. With so many of us separated this year due to the ongoing public health crisis, it could actually come in very handy as you can make endless calls to relatives, chat for hours on Zoom or FaceTime, and send hundreds of text messages without there being one Cent more than your usual monthly plan with Tesco Mobile.

« We want to help you celebrate Christmas with all your loved ones outside of your Christmas bubble. This is why we are giving you unlimited UK data and logs of & texts for the entire Christmas Day. Call your Nan, text us a friend, « the company announced on its website.

According to Tesco Mobile, the free package is automatically applied to customers’ accounts at no additional cost and is available on Christmas Day 24 hours from midnight to midnight.

« We know a lot of families can’t be together this Christmas. We hope this ‘little help’ will give our customers the opportunity to connect with all of their loved ones outside of their bubble this Christmas, « said Tom Denyard, CEO of Tesco Handy, Mobile Phone.

Sky also confirmed plans to provide both Sky landline and Sky Mobile customers with free minutes, calls and data. If you have a Sky landline installed in your home, you can call friends and family for free.

Sky offers Sky Talk customers on 25. and 26. December free calls from a Sky landline to other landlines and cell phones around the world. When your smartphone is connected via Sky Mobile, there is unlimited data available throughout the holiday season. Users can download as much as possible without paying any fees.

This free data package runs from Boxing Day through Boxing Day and is available to everyone in the UK.
