Three and a half years after Wonder Woman debuted in theaters around the world, fans of the iconic DC character can finally see the episode. Wonder Woman 1984 was originally due to be released last November but was postponed to 2020 to get a summer release. Then the pandemic hit and resulted in Wonder Woman being pushed back several times until it was finally postponed to Christmas Day.
Since many theaters are still closed, Warner Bros. . made the decision to debut Wonder Woman in 1984 on the same day as its theatrical release on the HBO Max streaming service. With this version everyone can watch the film at the same time. If there’s a way to see safely in theaters, take it. For those who don’t get that opportunity, just watch it on HBO Max.
Needless to say, fans in the US are thrilled with the release of HBO Max. People have been waiting for the debut since they woke up on Christmas morning as it wasn’t added to the service at midnight. The film was released on HBO Max at noon.
