Lionel Messi punished Granada for a free kick in the 41st minute of today’s La Liga encounter after hitting Starlet Pedri right on the edge of the box.
Messi stepped in front of a Granada team, all ten Had outfield players in the penalty area – nine of them were in a wall next to two Barcelona players – and still scored one goal.
It looked like Granada prevented the possibility of a low hit when a player got into the wall but Messi just went to the other side and drilled the ball through a gap in the wall that promising young defender Oscar Mingueza helped to create.
Granada was preparing for the free kick to go under the wall, so left Messi into the other corner instead? pic.twitter.com/trTUi3ElhA

I checked the sides’ comprehensive tactics to prevent Messi from taking the spectacular free kicks about a month ago, but that still wasn’t enough to stop the superstar.
Messi has the ones who have criticized his free kick since the start of the season, really silenced. Granada’s efforts are still not enough to stop the 33-year-old.
