Folks in an around the Long Beach area may have felt a small jolt Wednesday evening, as the United States Geological Survey recorded a 2.6-magnitude earthquake roughly 1.24 miles northwest of Signal Hill.

An earthquake with a magnitude of 3.5 struck near Pacifica on Tuesday morning, according to the US Geological Survey.
