Tornado warnings were issued Wednesday for a storm that worked its way from Connecticut, through Rhode Island and into southeastern Massachusetts. The National Weather Service issued the warning for a severe thunderstorm that was capable of producing a tornado near Foster, Rhode Island. It tracked east, sparking tornado warnings in Massachusetts’ Bristol, Plymouth and Norfolk counties, before the warning expired…

The National Weather Service has extended issued a tornado warning for western Providence County in Rhode Island until 5:15 4:45 p.m. and expanded the area covered by the warning into the North Attleborough area in Massachusetts, where Monday’s storms brought widespread flooding.
