A Western Illinois University student was shot by his roommate in Thompson Hall Tuesday Tuesday night, university officials said.

UPDATE (1:16 a.m) - Western Illinois University spokesperson Darcie Shinberger told our sister station WGEM-TV there's no active shooter on campus, but police are looking for a suspect who shot a roommate late Tuesday night at Thompson Hall. Shinberger described the incident as an isolated roommate dispute. The severity of student's injuries are not known.
