CM – 4-meter crocodile spotted sunbathing at Yeppoon

A timely reminder for beach goers in Central Queensland to look out for a « large crocodile » sighting on Farnborough Beach near Yeppoon.

The Environment Department announced that the crocodile sighted Thursday morning would be between 3pm and 11pm , 5 and 4 meters long.

This is the third crocodile sighting reported this week after another smaller crocodile was removed from a pond near Emu Park State School.

Authorities are calling on everyone on the Capricorn Coast to be vigilant and report crocodile sightings on 1300 130 372.
