A horse was hit by a car while riding in Bankstown, western Sydney, causing the animal to run away and then being hit by a truck.
A 35-year-old man rode the horse on Stacey Street Monday afternoon when the car hit them and the man fell.
The horse sped through after the incident and was hit by a truck a short time later about 3.5 km further down Canterbury Road.
